In celebration of the London Design Festival and Open House Festival Bloqs partners with the new platform for architect-makers, Gubns, to host a day of tours, workshop and party in celebration of London Design Festival and Open House Festival.

Gubns @ Bloqs: Make an Engraved Brass</p?

Pen Join us for our first metal workshop in partnership with Gubns, the new platform for architect-makers, and learn to create your very own bespoke, engraved brass pen from scratch. The workshop will be guided by Gubns member Aimilios (‘Emil’) Davlantis Lo, a London-based Architect, Machinist and Mechanical Workshop Engineer at UCL’s High Precision Design and Fabrication Facility. Emil will guide you through the workshop, tools, and various procedures before it’s your turn to make your brass pen. No experience needed and all materials will be provided. The intimate workshop has only 10 spaces available, allowing participants to work closely under expert guidance. The course runs for a total of 5 hours, with a 30min break and includes a drink on us at the Gubns Bloqs Party! Book here

Bloqs Tours

Bloqs Co-Founder Al Parra will be leading a series of tours throughout the day as part of the Open House Festival. Bring your maker friends and sign up for any one of the tour slots. Allow 45mins to an hour. Book here

Gubns Bloqs Party

Join us for an end-of-summer evening of tapas and summer cocktails to celebrate all architects, designers and creatives of all types—we'll also be hosting ad hoc tours of the factory floor throughout the evening, cocktail in hand! Together with the London Design Festival and Open House Festival, we'll be bringing London's creative scene over to Enfield. Delicious drinks and bites will be provided by Bloqs Kitchen, run celebrated chef Marianna Leivaditaki. Book here
