OUR FOUNDERS:

Our founders - Al, Arnaud & Vinny - are the people that made Bloqs happen! They are responsible for guarding and promoting the company's vision and mission, both internally and externally.

Other responsibilities include: Making sure the company is running smoothly and safely, our members and visitors are happy, and being sure that the estate and assets meet regulations and certification standards.

Whether you are a part of external partnerships, members new and old, or just popping into Bloqs Kitchen for a coffee, you'll find our friendly founders waiting with open arms, to welcome you to the wonderful world of Bloqs.

THE TECHNICAL TEAM:

Our fabulous technical team consists of Tom, Rob, Rory, and MJ, who are responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and readiness of our machines to a high standard.

They are here to make sure our members receive highly knowledgeable and professional training, assessments, and support, staying devoted to the safety of all workshop users.

Our technicians are also available to book for consultations, and play an important role in fabrication projects such as Made At and Cutting Service jobs.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM:

Our customer service team is the central point of information for all!

Pinar, Eloise, and Jelena, can be found at reception, ready to give a warm and friendly welcome to any members, visitors, and guests.

SPECIAL PROJECTS:

Our special projects team is responsible for managing all relations with our members, and the accounts of non-standard and corporate members at Bloqs. Jason handles requests and enquiries that lie outside the standard operating procedures, as well as facilitating special projects and bespoke bookings. This includes managing Cutting Service jobs and assisting for the larger Made At productions.

He is also responsible for conducting group tours in the workshop. So, if you are thinking of becoming a member here at Bloqs, this is the person to talk to about all the benefits of joining us!

BLOQS KITCHEN TEAM:

Our lovely Bloqs Kitchen team consists of Marianna, Claudia, Freya, Flo, and Paddy. They are here to keep you fed and watered, during your time at Bloqs, with a multitude of cuisines, and tasty food at your dispense! There are various meat, veggie, and even vegan options to choose from each day. Whether you're just stopping by, or after a coffee to get through the busy work days, our Kitchen team are ready to fill your bellies and serve you with a smile.

OUR BUILDING SERVICES TEAM:

Nev, Stefano and Ben, have the core responsibility of ensuring that the building is clean, well-maintained, safe to use, and the workshop is free of any hazards.

The building services team are also present to assist with loading/unloading and any basic enquiries of members, with significant impact on the workshop environment, comfort, machine safety, and member satisfaction. 

THE MADE AT TEAM:

Made At Bloqs is one of our fabrication services that supplies bespoke commissions from whole libraries to way-finding signage. This team consists of Arnaud, Brendan and Tracey, with regular support from other members and freelancers, depending on the project.

Mawiya and Mathilda are responsible for the marketing, social media, and event arrangements of the company.

Organised and creative, our marketing  team are here to facilitate and host events that support the company, engaging with the local community, and developing the cultural life of Bloqs.
