HOW TO GET STARTED AT BLOQS
1. Register as a member for free
The first thing you need to do, is to fill in the joining form with your details and verify your email address for security. Then, to be able to book online, you need to register a payment card to your account.
2. Make a booking online
Once your account is set up and you are logged in, you can start booking online. Go to Make a Booking, select the department and product you want to use and book it. Payment will be taken from the card registered to your account.
3. Machine access
Safety comes first, so if you want to start using machines, you will need to book training with one of our technicians - or an assessment if you are already a competent user - before you can use any of the machines at Bloqs. Log into your account, go to Make a Booking and book training or assessment for the machines you want to use.
4. Everything else
On your first day at Bloqs, you will receive a building Safety Induction and we will explain to you the most important house rules. After that, you are free to start your work, grab a coffee in our Kitchen, visit the shop or just get to know some of the people around. The Bloqs Kitchen is also open for public access, so a safety induction is not required to use these services. Our friendly customer service team will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Note on hand tools:
We do not supply hand tools for hire at Bloqs. Please bring your own. All hand tools must be used within a workspace and be attached to an extraction unit. We have two portable extraction units in the workshop for our members use on a first come, first served basis.
