Description

This very simple workshop standard set-up comprises a bottle trolley with a canister of Acetylene and one of Oxygen connected to a torch via regulators. A selection of interchangeable nozzles and attachments adapt the torch to the desired purpose.

This specialised equipment is supplied to BloQs by BOC and we carry a select range of nozzles. Members may use their own attachments subject to inspection and permission.

Due to its risk profile the Oxy - Acetylene is accessible only to those members who have passed a very specific assessment for it. Once passed, it is bookable by the day.

Training/Assessments

All training/assessments are to ensure that you are using the machines safely and correctly, overall.

You will be taught how to turn the machines on/off, location of emergency stop, and all safety measures & ground rules for each machine.

If you already know how to use the machine, be sure to book an assessment before use. The assessments are put in place for everyone's benefit, so our technicians can oversee that you will use the machines correctly, but most importantly, safely!
