The Formlabs Form 3 is an industrial-quality 3D printer that will enable you to create a multitude of prototypes and products with scale and repeatability. It provides the quality you require with the flexibility you desire.

How it works

The Formlabs Form 3 uses a custom-designed Light Processing Unit (LPU) consisting of a compact system of lenses and mirrors to deliver accurate, repeatable prints. A parabolic mirror ensures that the laser prints perpendicular to the build plane, resulting in uniform print quality across the entire build platform. With LFS technology's improved layer registration and surface finish, translucent materials print clearer than ever, right off the printer, and a simple cartridge system allows you to switch between materials in seconds.

For all 3D printers, you can use the resins/materials that we supply, or bring your own - if bringing your own, it must be the propriety materials that are compatible with this machine!

How to book the Formlabs Form 3

It's easy as 1-2-3 to get working on the Form 3, which includes machine-specific training, file preparation on the proprietary PreForm software and finally, printing and finishing time.

Training/Assessments

All training/assessments are to ensure that you are using the machines safely and correctly, overall.

You will be taught how to turn the machines on/off, location of emergency stop, and all safety measures & ground rules for each machine.

If you already know how to use the machine, be sure to book an assessment before use. The assessments are put in place for everyone's benefit, so our technicians can oversee that you will use the machines correctly, but most importantly, safely!
