Description

TIG gives you greater control over the weld than other processes such as MIG which means stronger, better quality welds.

The hot start arc ignition function means the arc ignition under low current is easier and more reliable. The unit has a 2T/4T function, and one for downslope and post-flow gas. Its self-adaptive arc force technology is designed to improve the performance of the machine when using long-cable welding. Electrodes and tungsten tips consumables can be purchased from the BloQs Shop.

Materials that can be used with this machine: Steel/ferrous materials only.

This TIG Welder is bookable by the day by members who have passed the requisite assessment.

Training/Assessments

All training/assessments are to ensure that you are using the machines safely and correctly, overall.

You will be taught how to turn the machines on/off, location of emergency stop, and all safety measures & ground rules for each machine.

Things you will learn in this training:

- Basic settings for DC (ferrous materials only)

- Gas bottle arrangement

- Helmet settings

- Basic welding techniques

- Troubleshooting

If you already know how to use the machine, be sure to book an assessment before use. The assessments are put in place for everyone's benefit, so our technicians can oversee that you will use the machines correctly, but most importantly, safely!
