Now Recruiting A Workshop Assistant
We are now looking for a Workshop Assistant to take help maintenance and cleanliness of our growing, shared-access workshop based in Enfield.
This operational role is being created to help look after our workshops, assisting with the building maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the Building BloQs workspace.
The Assistant will be responsible for the recycling and waste materials processing, ensuring the cleanliness of the workspaces, and driving a forklift as required.
The Assistant will help in the maintenance and repairs of the workspaces, buildings, machines, systems and grounds as needed.
The role will be working alongside colleagues and customers, helping make sure the workspaces are clean, clear and business ready at all times.
Experience and Requirements
The right candidates will have experience of workshops &/or a manufacturing environment and be comfortable using machines.
Candidates will have a track record of problem solving, be organised, and be able to time manage and prioritise.
Candidates will have good interpersonal communication skills, be friendly with customers and enjoy working as part of a team.
The role can be physically demanding so candidates need to be fit and strong.
An ability to make and fabricate things is very desirable.
5 hour shifts 3 days a week. London Living Wage. A range of benefits apply.
